This self publishing cartoonist originates from Calgary.

He has worked commercially for The Bloomberg View, Criterion Collection, The New York Times, Pop Montréal. He has completed (circa 2014) a fellowship at the Center for Cartoon Studies in Vermont U.S.A.

His graphic story Treasure Island was published by Breakdown Press (U.K.) in November 2013.

He won the 2015 Doug Wright Pigskin Peters Award for “Swinespritzen”.

Graduate of Sheridan College, he is Chief Animator for Industrial Light & Magic. In Los Angeles U.S.A. He created the dinosaurs for Jurassic Park (1993), the T1000 killing machine for Terminator 2 (1991), the sea monster for Abyss (1989).

WILL Elaine M.

Grew up in Saskatchewan, this freelance cartoonist and illustrator is now based in Saskatoon.

She graduated from Bournemouth University in England with a Bachelor of Arts in illustration.

Her first graphic novel Look Straight Ahead was released in 2013. In 2012 she had received a Xeric grant award. This self-publishing grant is given to creators by the Xeric Foundation. It was a novel about metal sickness.

Dust-Ship Glory was adapted from a novel by Andreas Schroeder which is based on the real-life story of Tom Sukanen a Finnish immigrant to Saskatchewan who during the 1930’s Depression attempted to build a steam ship to sail back to his native Finland. One can see the ship at the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village & Museum south of Moose Jaw Saskatchewan.

Her cartoon strip “On The Bus” appears in Verb Magazine of Saskatoon.

This freelance writer lives in Winnipeg Manitoba. He has written articles for CBC Manitoba. Starting in 2010 he was for several years an editor and staff writer for Broken Frontier an independent cartoon arts site.

He and Jayleen Weaver are the creators of “Nite-Flyer” and “Nitro Girl” who appeared in Epic Canadiana.
