SIMARD Jean

Born 1916, in Québec.

He studied classics at Petite Séminaire de Québec then studied and graduated in 1939 from École des Beaux-Arts in Montréal. He later taught at that school from 1947 to 1957.

He designed 33 water colour drawings for the 38 postcard set “Des métiers traditionels et des scenes folkloriques”. Published by Production Lacia Enrg in Quebec City. Henri Beaulac designed the other 5.
