PICKERSGILL Peter                                                                                                        He used the pen-name PIC.

He studied architecture and graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1971.

While in school he had done cartoons and illustration for the Star [Montréal] and the Sun [Vancouver]. In 1972, he moved to Ottawa and began working for the Citizen [Ottawa] as a backup editorial cartoonist to Rusins. Later he experimented with animation producing a daily political animated cartoon for Global Television.
