GRAPHIC HISTORY COLLECTIVE

This collective which was founded in 2008, by Sam Brudd, Mark Leier and Trevor McKilligan is a group of writers, illustrators, and researchers who use cartooning to explore non-fiction social and cultural issues. It’s current members include Sean Carleton, Robin Folvik, Kara Sievewright, and Julian Smith authors of 1919. These creators have also in various combinations produced May Day A Graphic History Of Protest, Drawn to Change: Graphic Histories of Working Class Struggle, & Direct Action Gets The Goods: A Graphic History of the Strike in Canada.
