STORM Jennifer
Born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba.
Her first graphic novel was Fire Starters (2016). She has contributed to anthologies This Place: 150 Years Retold, and Moonshot, volume 3.
In 2017 she received a CBC Manitoba Future 40 Award granted to outstanding Manitobans under the age 40. In 2019 served as Writer-in-Residence for One Book UWinnipeg at the University of Winnipeg.
She is acquisitions editor for an indigenous graphic novel series published by HighWater Press.
She has received a Manitoba Aboriginal Youth Award and a Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Award which is financial assistance given indigenous individuals enrolled in post-secondary studies.
