POLIWKO Nick
Nick was a Sheridan College graduate who teamed up with Tom Nesbitt to produce the comic strip “Bob and Doug” which started in the Toronto Sun in September 1983 and ended in May 1984. “Bob and Doug” was based on the television creation the “Mackenzie Brothers” by Rick Moranis and Dave Thompson. It appeared on SCTV.
He also partnered with Tom for Andromeda and Collector’s Dream periodicals and illustrated a variety of titles in the Canadian Children’s Annual.
