WHEN CANADA WAS YOUNG

WHEN CANADA WAS YOUNG

The cartoon strip was written by A.M. Wickson and illustrated by W. S. Gow. It began in the Calgary Herald, 6 January 1936 with strip number 16. Apparently there were no previous published strips. It ended with strip number 150 and the message:

“And thus young Canadians today, these Canadians of long ago, when Canada was young bid you farewell.”
