CHACKOWICZ Howard

Born 1969 in Laval Québec.

This Montréal artist and musician (a drummer for bands American Devises and Nutsak) taught at the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts which was later renamed and refocused as the Segal Centre For The Performing Arts, and operated a cartooning workshop for Drawn & Quarterly. In 2000 he was named one of five local artists of the year by Montreal Mirror. In 2008, Conundrum Press published his Howie Action Comix.

From 2004, he has been a regular on the CBC Radio One program “Wire Tap” which ended in 2015..
