BOATES Brent

This Vancouver native, began his comics career in the early 1970’s with a comic strip “Ecohawks” for the Georgia Straight. He also alternated with Rand Holmes in doing Georgia Straight covers.

He has worked on National Film Board animated films like Flashpoint, did illustrations for Vancouver magazine and contributed to Cocaine Comics, Forbidden Knowledge and Amputee Love.
