WESTON James L.

Probably born 1815 in England. By the 1840’s he was an established painter in Montréal. In the 1870’s he was an illustrator and cartoonist on the staff of l’Opinion Publique and The Canadian Illustrated News. He taught art in Montréal in the 1880’s but was living in New York by 1893. He died about 1896.
