METZGER George

In the late 1950’s contributed stories and illustrations to Camber. In the 1960’s worked for Fantasy Illustrated and Star-Studded Comics, Voice of Comicdom and Prometheon. Published in underground newspapers, Mobius Strip, San Jose Red Eye and L.A. Staff. Drew for underground comics Slow Death, Yellow Dog, Laff In The Dark and Moondog in California in the U.S. Came top Canada in 1972 and lived for a while in Slocan Valley, then moved to Vancouver. In 1978 worked in animation for the National Film Board and in Marv Newland’s Rocketship Studio.
